The objective of the Seminar is to support the on-going Asian Food Barometer project, a tool designed to study food habits of population facing the rapid modernisation.
This international research seminar is under the auspices of LIA-CNRS “Food,Cultures and Health” and of the Chair of “Food Studies:” jointly set up by Taylor’s University (Malaysia) and the University Toulouse-Jean Jaurès (France).
This event is co-organised in partnership with SEAMEO (RECFON) Indonesia, University of Washigton (Seattle, USA), the Centre for Scientific Research for Work, Organisations and Power (CERTOP) funded by the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS UMR5044) and the Research Committee n°17: “Sociology and Anthropology of Food” of International Association of French Speaking Sociologists (AISLF-CR17).
